Professor Wang Lixin, Dean of the College of International Education and the College of Chinese Language and Culture Nankai University, won the first prize of the 8^thOutstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research in Universities(Humanities and Social Sciences) of the Ministry of Education for hismonograph “Studies on Hebrew Bible Literature in the Context of Ancient Jewish History and Culture”, which is currently the most credible and influential award in the field of philosophy and social sciences in China. The Outstanding AchievementAward for Scientific Research in Universities (Humanities and SocialSciences) of the Ministry of Education is the most credible and influential important award in the field of philosophy and Social Sciences in China, which is selected every three years, aiming to commend and reward philosophy and social scientists in universitiesfor their outstanding achievements, display the significant theoretical and practical achievements of social sciences in universities in serving the development of  China, and promote the accelerated construction of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics in universities.
