International students of Chinese language and culture college went to Tianjin Arts and crafts vocational college to experience cultural experience

(Translator, Dongqing Bai) October 31, the international students of college of Chinese language and culture of Nankai university went to Tianjin Arts and crafts vocational college to experience Chinese culture activities. Tianjin Arts and crafts vocational college’s secretary Wang Lingqi Gao, dean Qing Wang and vice dean Qin Wang, and Ms. Liu, vice President of the college of Chinese language and culture and other relevant responsible teachers have attended the activity. Two colleges have worked together for many years and achieved many accomplishments. This time, the Beijing Opera inheritance base of Nankai university officially established an "art workshop" in Tianjin vocational college of arts and crafts.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Tianjin arts and crafts vocational college. Under the guidance of the teachers of Tianjin arts and crafts vocational college, international students visited the Art exhibition for the anniversary and the teaching training rooms to learn about the 60-year-history and achievements of arts and crafts in Tianjin. In the character design training room, representative international students have tried on the traditional costume of Beijing Opera and 3D scanning photography, wonderfully experiencing the effect of the combination of traditional art and modern technology.

Then, in order to let the international students feel the charm of traditional Chinese art, the teachers and students of the vocational college of arts and crafts instructed the international students to experience the painting of facial makeup and Chinese freehand painting. With the help of volunteers, Dou Er Dun, Zhang Fei, Jiang Wei, Dian Wei and other vivid images of Peking Opera facial makeup leap out of the window and a string of ink grapes lifelike. Through this activity, international students experienced the infinite charm of Peking Opera and Chinese painting.

The cultural experiencing activity was strongly supported by Tianjin arts and crafts vocational college and achieved good results. Qin menglan, an international student from Armenia who studies Peking Opera, said that through this kind of cultural experience, she was shown the beauty of opera characters and wanted to learn more about Beijing Opera. In the future, by regarding the Beijing Opera inheritance base of Nankai university as the platform, the two colleges will carry out more colorful activities to promote the inheritance and prosperity of traditional Chinese art.
