2019 NKU - NEOMA Business School Summer Camp Opened

 

(Correspondent Sun Wei; Translator Li Yueqing) The opening ceremony of the summer camp of NEOMA Business School - CCLC of Nankai University was held On May 13, 2019. It was attended by Liang Xiaoping, the assistant dean of CCLC , Yun Jianjing, the head teacher of the summer camp, and the directors of the college's teaching office and the admission office for international students. The representatives of the summer camp teachers and all the foreign students were also presented.

 

On behalf of NKU and CCLC, Liang Xiaoping began with a warm welcome to the teachers and students of NEOMA Business School and introduced the basic situation and characteristics of NKU and CCLC. She said that despite the differences between cultures of France and China, they are closely connected. Students should make full use of the two-week summer camp to study Chinese language and experience Chinese culture in depth.

 

As a representative of the summer camp teachers, Li Jun mentioned that students should cherish lessons and experience here in China so as to enrich their knowledge as much as possible. Besides learning Chinese, she hoped that students would have a deep understanding of Chinese economy and culture.

 

In addition, the head of the International Student Recruitment Office also introduced the schedule of this summer camp and reminded the students of the matters requiring attention during their stay in China.

 

It is reported that the summer camp was fully funded by the headquarters of Confucius Institute this year, and hosted by the College of Chinese Language and Culture of Nankai University. This program is of positive significance to the spread of Chinese culture and the promotion of French students’ understanding of China.

 

NEOMA Business School, formerly known as Rouen Business School, enjoys great fame in Europe with three campuses: Paris, Rouen and Lance. In recent years, Nankai University and NEOMA Business School have conducted comprehensive exchanges and cooperation. In April 2012, the two sides signed a student exchange agreement. In March 2014, the Confucius Institute of NEOMA Business School, which is the seventh Confucius Institute in the world of Nankai University, was established.
