Recently, we have learned from different channels that there were some social organizations in South Korea promoting admission advertisements in the name of “Preparatory Program of Nankai University for Overseas Students”. After verification, we confirm that Nankai University has never carried out any preparatory program for overseas students in South Korea, nor has authorized or delegated any organizations or individuals to do such marketing in South Korea.
As such, Nankai University hereby declares:
To be admitted by Nankai University, overseas students have to satisfy strict requirements in terms of Chinese language, test results and education background. Professional interview and academic background review are needed additionally if overseas students want to be admitted to a specific program. Any marketing of preparatory programs for overseas students by any organizations or individuals in the name of Nankai University in South Korea is fake. For such unauthorized activities, we reserve the right to pursue their legal liability.
