The Opening Ceremony of CCLC NKU--NEOMA Business Chinese Winter Camp 2017 Successfully Held

  Sun Wei, Xu JieHosted by the Admission Office for International Students of CCLC, the opening ceremony of CCLC, NKU--NEOMA Business Chinese Winter Camp 2018 was successfully heldin the multifunctional hall on the morning of Dec. 28th. Alongside the French students, also on the occasion were Ran Qibin, vice dean of CCLC, Ms. Fan Qi, leader of the winter camp, Ms. Ren Xiangqing, director of the Teaching Affairs Office, Mr. Sun Wei, director of the Admission Office, and lecturers in charge of the program courses.

  The ceremony began with a speech by Mr. Ran Qibin the vice dean, who extended a warm welcome to the guests from NEOMA, gave a brief introduction of the CCLC, Nankai University, and expressed his wishes that all the members of the winter camp could make the most of the eleven-day trip. He encouraged them to learn as much as possible about the Nankai University, about the Tianjin city and about China on the whole, hoping that they could help promote the cultural exchange between China and France.

  His speech was followed by a few words of thanks from Ms. Fan, who, on behalf of NEOMA Business School, acknowledged the careful arrangements that the CCLC had made for the camp. She urged that all the camp participants cherish this great opportunity to study in China by attentively listening to each class and carefully observing every aspect of the local life. Only in this way can they gain more knowledge and develop a better understanding of the Chinese culture.

  Ms.Li Jun, as the short-term course teacher representative, warmly welcomed her new students and kindly advised them to combine the language study with culture exploration and economy observation, which she believed to be the most rewarding learning method.

  After that, Mr. Sun Wei from the Admission Office informed the students of the detailed cultural activities on the schedule, and listed a few things that they should be mindful of during their stay in China.

  With a tradition of emphasizing cultural exchange and the aim of going global, CCLC is now offering a wide variety of short-term language programs with quality courses and well-designed activities, especially during the winter and summer vacations.

  Fully funded by the Confucius Institute Headquarter, the CCLC, NKU--NEOMA Business Chinese Winter Camp 2017 provides a perfect window for young people in France to get an authentic look at China and its unique culture.
