On 16th August, with six foreign students arriving in the US, the study program in America for undergraduate Chinese Language major oriented in International Business and Trade(3+1) in 2017 formally starts.
Within the framework of friendly cooperation between the university of Nankai and the university of Utah, College of Chinese Language and Culture(CCLC) in Nankai university signed the cooperation training agreements for undergraduate Chinese Language major oriented in International Business and Trade(3+1) with English College in the University of Utah in February. 2016. According to the teaching plans and agreements, the foreign students would go to University of Utah, USA to further English study in the second year. The first 16 foreign students have reached America in August,2016 and will go back to Nankai to further study in September, 2017.
During the stay in US, the foreign students in CCLC would also go on Chinese study while learning English and American culture. If meeting relative regulations, the foreign students are also allowed to take other relative courses in the University of Utah.
The leaders in CCLC, which is the medium of internationalization of Nankai University, have paid high attention to the construction of internationalization, aiming to broaden channels of enrollment for foreign students and explore a international way featuring in good administrative education rules and Nankai characteristics.
2017 is the second year of the study program in America for undergraduate Chinese Language major oriented in International Business and Trade. Under the mutual effort of the two universities, CCLC has overcome many difficulties from visa application or accommodation problem to send foreign students oriented in International Business and Trade to the University of Utah on schedule.
