According to the regulation from the ministry of education, all foreign students who came to China to study must join the “Overseas Students’ Composite Insurance” plan from the Pingan Insurance Company.
1.All freshmen (undergraduates and language students) who come to register on September 15th must join the plan.
2.All senior students (undergraduates and language students) must join the plan at beginning of the new semester.
3.Insurance fee for undergraduates is 800 RMB per year; students will pay this fee with total tuition fee when they register.
4.Language students who plan to buy the insurance for one year will pay 800 RMB; anyone who plans to buy the insurance for less than six months will pay 400 RMB.
